| trail conditions were great. i started at 11am so it was very hot as the first 1/3 is exposed. the first 1/3 is also where all the people are too. top 2/3s are quiet and quite pleasant. photos at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/davidbailey/sets/72157624414567912/ | |

| Went up the Mt. Wilson Trail came down the firebreak across Hastings Peak to the connector trail between Bailey Canyon and Little Santa Anita Canyon. Then down to the Wilson Trail and on back to the car. Nice loop. | |

| I did this hike a few years back (don't remember). Great views from the top over the entire LA basin. I guess we were lucky and had a clear day. | |
