My first encounter with Red Rocks' Bighorn gals this year

Bighorn Sheep Ewes high above the north fork of Pine Creek. I met them on route to Bridge Point around middday on March 13, 2008. Red Rocks, Nevada. Enjoy my whole slideshow from this day: Bridge Point

Thanks Dean. Red Rocks without bighorns would not be the same so I'm always happy to see them doing well. After I got my shots I moved back a few feet and all three of them sat down. It was nice to leave them calm and relaxed. On the way down from the peak we saw a bigger group of ewes with a tiny baby sheep among them. It was a great day with four encounters with sheep all together :)
