Mynydd Tal-y-mignedd

Mynydd Tal y Mignedd (653m), Nantlle Ridge, Eifionydd, Snowdonia. The 'point' protruding from its summit is a tower of slate known as the Obelisk. It was constructed in 1887 by the workmen of the Prince of Wales Quarry to mark Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. Photo taken Feb 2008.
