Narvik

About 120 km north of the Arctic Circle is the town of Narvik on the Otottfjord. This is the port where iron ore from northern Sweden is loaded onto boats, and is one of the reasons the German's occupied Norway at the beginning of WW2. A large naval battle was fought here.
