Natapoc Mountain - South Summit

Natapoc Mountain - South Summit

From the northern end of the summit ridge, looking SSW at the south summit of Natapoc Mountain. Unlike the north summit (4204'), the south summit does not have an official specific elevation, with a summit contour ranging between 4200' and 4240'. Natapoc Mountain is one of Washington's peak with over 2000' of prominence. On the right side of this photo, Big Jim Mountain is the snowy peak seen in the distance to the southwest. Photo taken on April 30, 2011.
