| Actually, in an effort to show my appreciation for Paul coming with me to Whitmore Mountain (another Washington P2K) and a couple of other peaks that day, I was willing to return to Natapoc Mountain while on the way back home just so Paul could do it for the first time. 1h35m up, 1h10m down | ||

| I wound up doing some bushwhacking on this one which may have been my fault. I think the powerline road offers the easiest travel even if it is low on the aesthetics. As I recall, there was a pretty decent bootpath of sorts once you got to the pass and headed for the summit. | ||

| Redwic | Very Enjoyable Hike ![]() Date Climbed: Apr 30, 2011 | |
| I really liked this peak. I think I timed it just right, too. The road approach was almost entirely snow-free, but the entire off-road section (minus a couple of small areas on the summit ridge) was snow-covered. Easy traversing, minimal brushy spots. Went to both summits; the south summit seemed higher, and my GPS device agreed (it showed 4220' elevation at the south summit, in contrast to the 4204' elevation of the north summit). Great day, and my 49th Washington P2K. | ||
