| Trail basically snow free to Navaho Pass (one small easy patch just below pass). Great views. Small summit area that doesn't accomodate crowds. Page describes this as class 2. This is a pure walkup, class 1. No class 2 doing the standard trail to Navaho Pass and up the final .92 mile (gaining 1173 feet) trail to the top. One easy "snowfield" (it beat the heck out of the scrabbly trail especially coming down) of about 100 yards about .1 mile below the summit. A couple of very short easy snow patches between the pass and the 100 yard snowfield. | |

| Mountain biked up Stafford Creek. Left bike at wilderness boundary and did the easy hike up Navaho. Fun day. | |

| Summit register had a pencil in it but no paper. I used the back of one of the Maps of our route which EastKing had printed to write our group's names and date it. Beautiful day for all the crappy weather everywhere else. Best view of Stuart Range here. | |
