Near the End of the Southwest Approach

This view looks down toward the start of the southwest ridge route. This gentle slope and the ridge on the right both provide relative level approaches to the main southwest ridge, which rises abrupt before connecting to the summit ridge. The road is just visible to the left of center. June 2009
