Newly emerged Pacific Green Sphinx Moth

Cold Creek, South Lake Tahoe, May 20, 2007 I just happened to be squatting there with my camera, looking at some emerging Lupinus grayii flowers when this moth wriggled out from under the rock in the photo. It clung there for about an hour drying out before it flew away.
