have you ?done this route, via the Thou ?
what a surprise ! I visited Lustou exactly the same way and this route is not very common !

Re: have you ?yes, we slept the previous day in the camping area with our tents (a small piece of grass near of the road of Rioumajou with a signal in the trees). We climbed across valley of Peguere and we reached the cabanne (North) following after that to col of Lustou. We followed the route of the book of my friend Luis Alejos. It's the same recomendation of the book of David Atela. These books are the most popular in Spanish about the peaks of 3000m of Pyrenees but Lustou is a less popular climb among Spanish mountaineers because is far from our country. In september 2009 we were the only mountaineers in the route. We found 3 French people in the descent from the summit. It was a nice day but the ridge had a little of ice and it was a little dangerous.
