This picture was taken from where the old High Point Inn used to stand. The Inn was demolished in the 1950's because it fell in to dis-repair. In the early 1900's the summit of High Point, like 60% of the Kittatinny Mountains, was bald. All the tree's had been cut down by logging company's. There is very little original growth in this part of High Point State Park. 9/30/2005.
