Please note that when comparing the two ways down -- (1) The route that takes you down to Indian Caves and (2) The route that takes you down the base of the column -- The column route is MUCH easier and shorter. To do this route down, stick to the climbers left side of the gully, as far as you can without getting on the slabs. You can go down with just one rappel, even with a heavy bag. If you take the other route, the route that sticks more to the middle and ends up at Indian Caves eventually, there is a rap off a tree that has BITING ANTS FROM HELL. They tried to kill me and I almost rapped off the end of the rope trying to escape! It was a living torture!!!
