Looks like a great climb, congrats on leading!!! were there already bolts in the rock, or did you place trad gear? Did you ever get spooked? Looks pretty slabby to me. The colors in the rock look interesting! You're right about the golden larches. I did the Enchantments loop one year when they had turned, and that was by far one of the most gorgeous places I've been to in WA...maybe THE most. Hard to compare to CO's aspens, since they're both awesome in their own ways. I'm doing Peak X and maybe Z in the Gores on Wednesday...I'd invite you, but you're not in CO!

Hey thanks Sarah!!! Yeah WA is freking badass...no there were no bolts...all trad gear except for the belay anchors which had a couple bolts. Good luck on Peak X and Z...I'll be back to CO soon enough!
