North Kinsman Summit?

North Kinsman Summit?

I looked around where I thought the high point of North Kinsman was and found this rock on the side of the trail a bit lower than the high point of the trail, but, higher than any other point around. Can anyone confirm? If not, I bouldered this rock for nothing....

"North Kinsman is wooded, and its true summit is actually a pointed boulder in the woods beside the trail." -- White Mountain Guide, 26th ed.

I don't remember seeing this boulder - it might have been buried in snow at the time, or I might simply have been off-trail.

Sweet! Thanks. This was about 10-15 yards north on the trail around a corner from the view point that I think everyone treats as the summit. Thanks for the confirmation, sadly, I don't have the WMG, but I always appreciate your info.
