North Star Lake

The minor morain to the south of North Star Lake, from where this picture was taken, in the end, provided no protection from the strong winds as they blasted us all afternoon and night. Yes, we camped within 200 feet of water but there was no other option. All we needed was a small stand of trees to block the wind but there were none.
