| Went up a few days after a recent late spring dump of 1-2 feet. Too bad it turned into soggy mashed potatoes, and wet slides all over. Still...the view is worth it, and turns are turns no matter what. | |

| Fun turns from the summit. Stay in the trees if the bowl is baked. Note that the gate to Spring Creek Rd is usually gated after a good snow- the sign says to park in the Sno Park a mile down but you may park at the gate entrance so long as locals can get through. A steep and somewhat arduous skin up. Should take between 2.5 and 3.5 hours from car to summit. | |

| Ascended the NE ridge, toting my board. Conditions on descent were a mix of wind-blown powder above 8K, then a crusty ice layer for about 500', and for the finale a nice 8-12" slush layer. Could have been worse! | |
