From the saddle just south of Ptarmigan Spire, it is an easy ridge traverse to reach this "peak" overlooking Ptarmigan Tunnel. However, that peak is not the way down to Ptarmigan Tunnel, for hidden from view here are sheer cliffs that drop hundreds of feet. Glacier National Park, MT-- August 2009
