NW view from the summit of
Sveti Vid (349m) along the southern crest. Below is one of countless such walls that intersect on
Pag island. This one runs for kilometers along the top of southern crest of the island. It prevents the sheep from going to the edge of very steep NE side that falls towards
Pag bay. Behind, on the left, is long northern tip of Pag. On the coast, to the left, are tiny houses in
Novalja town. Mountain on the horizon (below clouds) is
Ucka (1394m) mountain on
Istra peninsula. It is 110km away.
