The Tannheimer Hütte offers excellent food. Some people come here even if there are is vacant place in the dorms.

The lower terrace of Tannheimer Hütte is sufficiently safe of avalanches.

10 € per nite, and real big dorms. Usually there are vacant places for people that like sleeping together with 30 others in one room.

The food is good if you do not go there too often. But the menu did never change for close to half a century now. There is a BIG sunny terrace.
