Corrected Overview

Hey there!

Ich finde der Text im overview könnte etwas Korrektur vertragen. Ich hab mir mal erlaubt das zu machen.

The "Großes Reisseck" is the highest mountain and name-giver of the Reisseckgroup in the Hohe Tauern. The group is situated in the south of the more famous Ankogelgroup. The Reißeck, with it's 2965m Peak is lower than most of the Ankogelgroup Peaks. Because of the lower height, many underestimate this mountain, but it is actually more demanding because of steep and big rocks.
The climb itself is mostly started from the Reißeck Railway which brings you up to 2245 meter. Because of the short distance to the top many people try to climb it without the necessary respect and know-how. Tourists will need a bit of physical condition and good footwear to reach the summit.
After taking the Reisseck-train up until the end station it is about a 3.5 hour climb, which starts out as a nice and easy path but turns into steep and slippy rock towards the end.
Once you are on the summit you can enjoy a beautiful view over the Hohe Tauern region. In the main season, from June to September, lots of people are trying to climb this mountain, but many underestimate the mountain and only a few do reach the summit.

Lg,
Tom

Reißeck train is gone

The mountain train from Kolbnitz to 'Großer Mühldorfer See' was shut down in 2016 and will be removed in the following years.
