You can also do the route from the refuge Cabane de Trient in Switzerland.It takes about two hours for the approach of the couloir and two hours for the ascent and one hour for the descent.It is a very nice refuge and very good food.
I would classify the whole route as AD-,pitches of III uiaa on the ridge,not easy scramble!
