As of Oct 15 2012, there is a great trail map here.
Instead of the standard step to the top at the very last part of the summit block, one can creep around the north side (starting on the west, by the "normal" route), over a very narrow ledge. The ledge slopes downward to north, and is covered with lichen, so be careful-- it's hard to spot folks here, but you can lend a guiding hand from the east end of the ledge.
