There is a section, after about the 5 or 6th pitch, where it can be tempting to get off route. This is what happened to us, and apparently we're not alone because there were a bunch of raggedy looking rap anchors obviously built by someone who realized they're way up shit creek...I think the key is to stay more or less on the butress and avoid the temptation of veering left into the grassy crack/chimney system. Our leader actually climbed all the way through and into the 5.9 OW, making some delicate skyhook placements on what he said was probably about 5.12 level climbing...
