I have a minor addition about the beginning of the route, since the description may be misleading.
The route begins not from the (main) Staffa Saddle (between Joderhorn and Battel), but on a minor but evident saddle, already on the SE ridge, 50-70 meters above the Staffa saddle. It can be reached either earlier from the southern side of the ridge, by easy rocks & plates (free, I-II), or from the Staffa saddle, by the first 50mt of SE ridge (I-II, free, some broken and unstable rocks here and there).

Re: Beginning of the route
I believe you're right. Thanks for correcting, I'll change it in the route desription. And if I remember well, there is an iron pole in position on the minor saddle, so you can't miss the right start.
Exactly... This summer a ~ 1-1.5m iron pole was placed on the minor saddle, where the route starts. Since I was not sure if it was stable or not, I did not mentioned it. G.
