The trail (from the junction to the summit of the Cima di Terra Rossa) is equipped with good rope almost in all the sections. However you must pay attention to a vertical rope (6 meters) not fixed at the bottom in relation to a steep rocky wall. More recent ropes have been fixed on the final part of the trail towards the Forca del Disteis. Only one aluminium rung-ladder is present; it is fixed only on the top and, if you have to descend it, a greater effort is required. You can start the route from Cima di terra Rossa or from the base of Montasio, but in the first case, if the weather changes quickly or for other good safety reasons, you can stop the trail after not more than 30 minutes and discend to the refuge Brazzà following a gravelly-grassy valley.
