Hasn't voted | Bor, I don't know if it's worth mentioning, but I was here also skiing down. On one hand this is a nice descent in summer - if you go from Stanic hut by the marked route to the summit, and descend here down in Vrata. On the other hand this is one rare possibility to ski down from Cmir. I don't know if this would still be considered a normal ski tour (or an alpinistic skiing). When we were there, snow was very soft, so we didn't proceed up to Stanic hut and Begunjski vrh. The first part of ascent (from the flat part of the Valley behind Cmir) was quite steep, later it was unpleasant, because snow was lying on plates, which were hanging down towards valley and we were concerned about avalanches. Luckilly there were not too much snow - in some cases we cleaned first the avalanche down, and afterwards did the skiing of that passage. It was not a big joy, but was possible. In good conditions this could be a (demandind) ski tour. | |

Hasn't voted | Yes when I climbed over these slopes I thought about skiing down and it is certaintly possible!! I think is great tour (alpinist) skiing there!! Thanks for mentioning! | |
