weather info
Voted 9/10
The best current weather info for this area would be one of two weather stations operated by Ray's Weather.
http://booneweather.com/Current+Conditions/Stone+Mountain
Stone Mtn. is along the western front of the High County (along the NC/TN border) like Hump, so the weather would be comparable to Hump, especially during frontal events.
http://averyweather.com/Current+Conditions/Beech+Mountain
Beech Mtn. is closer to Hump and has about the same elevation. The weather would be comparable to Hump during a stable weather period.
Forcasts are also available for each station (by clicking on the forcast tab), which takes in account for its unique mountain location.
