the official unofficial name for this ridge is Torreys ridge since it is opposite the much more famous Kelso Ridge.
It sounds as though the description is for the south ridge connecting kelso mtn with torreys pk. I thought the northwest ridge paralleled the north couloir, coming up from grizzly gulch..
