Last tricky section

Hi Jed,

I have two questions about this route.

In the route section you state "The one tricky bit is the last rock face". How would this section compare to the technical portion of the standard route to Lone Peak or Broads Twin Peaks?

And is the Timpanooke road (FR 056 I think) accessible by passenger car or do you need a high clearance vehicle?

Thanks,
Ryan

Re: Last tricky section

I would say it's about the same: class 4(ish) in one or two spots, but mostly strong class 3. The Timanooke road should be accessible by car, if you're driving carefully. There are a few rocky sections just before you come around the front of Timp, but they aren't too long.

BTW, even more than a year later, this still stands out as one of the best hikes I've done in the Wasatch.
