Route Description
Head west into the brushy trail. In the winter and spring there is water flowing so be careful stepping over the rocks. You will climb a tiring uphill raising you near. Take a brief rest while looking at the Ocean. Then head forward. You will see a phenomenal view of the canyon while heading downhill. The trail will eventually end and dump into the Zuma canyon trail. Take a right and head to the bouldering area. The next few miles will be nothing but rock hopping through shrub and brush. Once you've reached the end you will hit Edison road, and proceed back the way you came.
This ocean view trail adds near 3 miles to the hike.
