| Spent the night before in the shepherd's hut, sleeping and listening to the roars of the red deer stags. The roof was leaking awfully, I made use of my NRC sheet but luckily it stopped raining very soon. At the summit, it was drizzling, most of the time. | |

| My daughter Hanna and I set foot on Ohnište in the late August of 2005, while camping at Borova Sihot. We hiked right up into the mountains along an unmarked path, then bushwacked a bit to get to the marked trail. Having reached the summit at about 5 p.m., we decided to put off a visit to the Window till later in the future. Got back via the Jánska valley, passing the village at its mouth after dark. | |
