Oklahoma Fall
Early November in Southeast Oklahoma offers the opportunity to hike the Winding Stair Ridge along the Ouachita Trail in a riot of colorful Fall foliage. Old Military Road (Trail), Boardstand Trail, and Bohannen Trail also offer hiking opportunities in this eastern-most part of the OT. This area is also accessible by Talimena Skyline Drive, which the OT parallels for many miles before crossing into Arkansas near Mena. Imaged in November 2002.
