| After a year of physical therapy, I started easy mountains again, so on this trip I only hiked South Arapaho and Old Baldy. It was awesome to be again in the mountains moreover, everything was flowering in the Indian Peak Wilderness. Almost nobody climbs this hill but its a ranked (unlike South Arapaho) 13er! | ||

| When I got off the plane from Indiana and picked up the dog, the weather was still really nice, so I figured I'd try for an easy, orphaned, ranked 13er. "Old Baldy" fit the bill. Car-to-car from 4th of July TH was 11:30am to 4:20pm. Not bad after coming from a few days at sea level and not getting much sleep the night before. The GPS said 8.9 miles and just over 3k gain; not sure I believe it. | |

| That's about all I saw on this peak...and maybe a few Ptarmigans. Hit it after coming down off the traverse in full sun only to have the clouds move in during the 45 mins it took me to get over. Fled after thunder rolled past. | |

| Hike this one with my wife. She did not summit, but did get to 12,600 feet. The clouds were moving in so we had to turn around before she summited. | |
