Seen from the trail near Lookout Lake. Old Main is the largest and most prominent rock face on Medicine Bow Peak, though the Diamond, a short distance south, is more spectacular and has better climbing routes. At least one established Class 5 route exists on the face of Old Main. I scrambled up Class 3 and 4 rock from above the talus slopes near the right side of the face.
