| The summit, spoilt by a British military installation, is a bit of an anti-climax. Tommy go home please, the colonial days are over. | ||

| Jacek | Please leave, soldiers ![]() Date Climbed: Apr 4, 2010 | |
| The actual summit is a bit ruined by occupying soldiers, but the paths on the upper slopes are really nice, and views of the entire island are spectacular. | ||

| Walked trough the beautiful Troodos Mountains / Woods towards Olympos Mountain. The actual summit is off limits because it is a military ground for both the Cypriot and English Military. Great views from just under the summit. | ||

| Groundswell | First taste of winter camping | |
| my friends dad took us winter camping for the first time ever. I was around 15/16 years old. he brought external packs from the Kmart for us to use. we packed a 6 pack of Coke and tons of candy. After suffering for 3 nights, we went home. Since then, i cant wait until the next trip to "suffer" again. thanks Mr Taylor | ||

| tsteine | Route Climbed: From South East Date Climbed: April 1994 ![]() | |
| We climbed Mount Olympus as part of our hike from Larnaca in the south east to Polis in the north west. There was 1-2 feet of snow on the top, however, practically no snow for the most part of the trail up there. We camped at maybe 1500m, so the night was a bit chilly. | ||

| Deeeep snow ! Most of the times it was possible to wade though it, but sometimes we just sunk in over our hips. Beautiful dark blue sky contrasting with the white snow and intense green trees. By far the most attractive place of the island. Ulli Prinz | ||
