On the Gorner Glacier
Today we're not planning to bag any summits but are moving camp, from the Gorner Glacier to somewhere on the Monte Rosa Glacier. To get there, we have to cross the small ridge ahead of us. We've read that that's possible by making a detour on the right (outside this photo). Perhaps we can find a shorter route...
Sticking out above the ridge, seemingly close but in reality far behind, are Lyskamm, Castor and Pollux.
