What is this object you are sitting on? It appears to be man-made. Is it atop Rockall?

Exactly so. It is the base for a beacon that had been placed there in the past and was washed off by the sea shortly after. There is nothing higher in a circle 300 miles wide around Rockall. Big deal, 19.2 m high.
