Once the trail disappears in...
Once the trail disappears in a clearing, look closely for some cairns that will mark the way uphill to your left. This picture was taken in the middle of the clearing. Use the large outcropping above you as a reference. The trail will lead far to the left (west) of the outcrop pictured here.
