where is this picture taken from?Opal ridge doesn't look familiar from this angle.

Re: where is this picture taken from?a small nondescript ski ascent(Mount Kent) I did to the NW. All of the Opal Ridge traverse features are very distinguishable in this photo starting with Opal Peak to the left.

Re: where is this picture taken from?Thanks, all that snow confused me a bit but looks like I will have to do that traverse again. I don't remember too much elevation gain once you reach the north summit and the big plateau. From this picture it looks like the north summit is quite a bit lower than the high point along the ridge.
