great summit
I went up the south slopes three different times in the past and it is a fun yet very steep hike. In May when everything is green and the summit area is all snow it is awesome. I never saw a register on the peak because it was all snow. The traverse over to the actual summit is a blast with a little exposure. The view over to Antoinette Peak is truly spectacular.
I left a little register in a jar on this summit. Climbed it again five years later with my parents(age 60 and 58); amazed to sign register again under my own name. Either no one visited in the interim, or the jar wasn't seen?? Pity, because as Bob says, a tremendous view of Antionette Peak is to be had. Maybe I'll check it out this year(2015).
