Orange Bush Monkey-flower (Mimulus aurantiacus)

Orange bush monkey-flower is one of the few species of monkey-flower that is a shrub. It is common in coastal California and southwest Oregon. Though most established floras include this shrub in the genus Mimulus, some newer treatments have separated the bush monkey-flowers into a new genus, Diplacus. This photo is from near Pt. Reyes, CA.
