| From Winnemucca, we (Ken Jones & I) drove out and did Bilk Peak, the highpoint of the House range. That road was deteriorating and was really a test of our machines. Afterwards, we had lunch in Denio and then went after this one, which is a long drive followed up by an 8 mile hike. Saw lots of deer and proghorn | |

| 3rd attempt on Orevada View seemed to be the charm. 1st go at it was a passive attempt in early March followed by a 2nd shot at it during the april monsoons when roads were still snowed in. Met Dean, Dennis Poulin and Bob Bolton in Fields for a weekend of 'prominence peakin'. | |
