I think John Vitz pretty well summed it up back in Sept. 2000. It is a long walk. We registered 16 miles on our GPS's. Yet, it was enjoyable despite the length and the fact that this was not an alpine peak nor even similar. It was more a feeling of discovery and accomplishment.
