Our route on Monte Casale

Our climb of a buttress of Monte Casale is shown in red, with approximate belay locations in green. We attempted to follow the climb "Via Christina" (VI-), but sadly lost it in increasingly brushy chimneys to the left. "Via Christina" actually continues up in green on the right.

It's not a new route

the route you followed is the upper side of "Ugo Merz" climbed by R. Larcher and S. Ventura in 1983
