Our route up

Dennis took this shot as he descended the slope from the summit of West Pueblo mountain and I have taken the liberty to make a few changes to his picture. The weather was changing on us so the skies were totally gray and overcast otherwise the colors would have made a really nice picture. My truck is in the foreground and interestingly enough, as Dennis was descending and stopped to take this picture, I was taking a picture of him. Where I have marked the trailhead is about the 7000 foot level and a road continues on to the left (north)toward the green area. For a link to a map, check out this page at lists of John
