Love Ouray
After Mark phoned & told me that he couldn't make it due to illness (I was in my truck on my way to Ouray at the time), I decided to go ahead & try anyway. It worked out, as I found Constance who'd just finished the lease on her apartment in SoCal & decided it was time for a break- i.e. go learn to ice climb in Ouray, then see where things take her. Thanks- I had a fun time! Loved just being there in the winter amidst the snowy beauty. The hot springs & haunted(?) Historic Western Hotel (great to meet you too Alina) were wonderful too! Can't wait to go back. TR'd at School Room as well as S. Park.

Very Cool
Climbed here and loved it. Got to play on ice and mixed and even climbed after dark for a couple of hours. (They let us turn some sprayers off.)
Climbed for a couple days in Feb 2006. As I recall, we mainly spent our time in South Park and New Funtier.
Great spot. Unbelievable access to easy and hard stuff alike.
Don't remember the names of the routes we spent time on, except for one...N.A.M.B.L.A. How can you forget that one? My partner and I climbed it just cuz of the name!
