This is a wind-resistant fleece. The pockets are designed to avoid pack harnesses as well as hipbelts. The cuffs have stretch panels to maintain a snug fit. The collar is relatively low, but has a drawcord. There is also a hem drawcord on each side of the jacket. Newer models have a zippered internal pocket on the chest as well as webbing loops on the collar and cuffs.

I love this jacket. I've used it backpacking, snowboarding, hiking and generally living, and it's never let me down. The pockets are in the perfect place, so you can wear this while backpacking without having a zipper under your hipbelt. They also serve as nice big vents. I with the collar was taller, but I really like the drawcord there. Excellet jacket.
