Product Description

From Black Diamond:
"The 88-millimeter-waisted Voodoo is the widest ski in our Efficient Series and shares geometry with the Havoc—with a half-pound less weight. It features a damp 3D CNC-machined wood core with a relaxed Dual Torsion Bow construction for efficient weight with energetic response. It has an upturned tail, keeping skin attachments off the snow for the up, and a smooth round flex for effortless turns skiing down."

Reviews

Telemarkski.com:
"Black Diamond redesigned the Havoc for '07-'08 with efficiency as the number one focus to create the Voodoo. Think of it as the Havoc, lightened and softened torsinally for a lightweight backcountry ski requiring less energy input for a lively return."

Backcountry Magazine:
"Think of this wider-body as the Havoc light. Same dimensions, same Dual Torsion Bow construction, but lighter weight with less torsional stiffness for flexibility in powder. It proved to have some juju West and East. As a Left Coaster put it: 'Holds an edge well and is better at speed than expected...large sweet spot.' It cast a spell on one East Coast skier: 'Much more powerful than the Verdict or the Havoc. Gladly ripped across cruddy fall line and was happy in light powder. A bit plankish on flatter terrain...but well worth the trade-off everywhere else.' Added another, 'This soft ski has just enough girth and dampness to carry it through a variety of both snow and terrain.'"
