Steep slopes and icy chutes are the terrain for
this ski. An extreme touring ski for most difficult
conditions, very good manoeuvrability and ice grip,
for highest demands.

Untitled ReviewFor steep slopes, rock and ice climbing they fit nicely on my pack without cathing my heels or the rock overhead.
I weigh 65kg and float resonably on most snow types, though I had to fight for it under fine powder condition in Colorado. If good powder is frequently on the meny you should consider longer skis.
Despite their shortness, they are surprisingly stable. They have very good edge grip and only in high speed turns on hard snow/ice do they start to 'resonate'. Under these conditions, it is rather the softness of my mountaineering boot than the length of the skis which set the limit of control.
In summary, I am very happy with these skis.
I chose them as a mean to ascend peaks in loose snow conditions, where they save me tedious postholing on the way up and save hours on shallow descents back to the valley.
They serve this purpose well, though I would perhaps prefer them in 140-150 cm for slightly better floatation in powder. As a 130cm ski, it is worth 5 stars, but as a choise of ski I give it only 4.
Notice, If I were looking for an explicit ski-touring set, I would go for longer skis and stiffer boots.
