| My wife, daughter, dogs, and I all enjoyed the slot canyon and the cave. The colors become intense in the main canyon past the cave and up the dry fall. Actually it was raining lightly after a bigger storm a couple of days before, making for some little cascades and a bit of creekwalking. The campground is amazing considering the price and proximity to Barstow. A fun place for kids with multiple playgrounds and lots of scrambling to be found. | |

| Beautiful interesting area, loved it! Hiked up Owl Canyon then west up to the mesa top then down another unnamed slot canyon. Explored a few dead-end slot canyons then returned to Owl Canyon Campground. | |
